A couple of holiday gift slippers

This is my first post to the Kal-cal and I'm so excited because it took me a little effort and guidance just to figure it out! I've been crocheting some slippers from the 2006 IK Holiday Gifts magazine. The pattern is by Doris Chan. They are super cute and can be done in whatever color combination suits the person you are giving them to (or you!). I think that my photos don't always do them justice, but trust me usually everyone that sees them comments on how cute they are. I've done these in both Knitpicks Swish superwash worsted wool and Moda Dea Washable Wool.
So, it's December 1st but somehow I feel like I'll running out of time. Does anyone else feel that way? I'm currently working on a couple of stashbusting scarves, bags, more slippers, and possibly some hats and coffee cup cozies! Happy knitting and crocheting to you all!

Does IK = Interweave Knits?

I love these! I need to order the back issue of the mag just so I can make these!

Yes, IK is Interweave Knits. So, it's Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2006 (I just checked to make sure). Also, if you look for this pattern on Ravelry it lists it from Knitscene Fall/Winter 2005 not the Holiday Gifts issue. I assume it's in both?

Really nice. I love how they look like a loafer from the top. It would be nice if IK could send this out as a free pattern!
