I wanted to post a THANK YOU to Mary Beth Temple for sending such a wonderful prize. I am the proud recipient of THE SECRET LANGUAGE OF KNITTERS. This little gem of a book is just a hoot to read! I can't wait to share this with my knitting/crochet/spinning group... thanks again! I also received my choice of three pattern downloads from Mary Beth's site. So many great patterns to choose from, you really should check it out! I can't wait to cast on for the 50/50 sock :) And finally, thanks to Marly and all of the other sponsors as well...

Kal-Cal Christmas 2008
Finished the Jasmine slouchy hat on Christmas Eve, but was out of town and could not post the picture until now. The pattern was not clear, but with help I got it finished. I originally made it for a friend going through Chemo, but she has 5 other hats I made her earlier and this one took me too long to make. It came out a little too big even thought it was a one size fits all and I met the gauge requirements. Oh well, it will go into my cache of "what do I do with this now?" projects.

Post Holiday Photos
One of my gifts, although completed before Christmas, was not received until last weekend. My friend's little girl spent the holiday out of town and was eager to come visit us to get her present. I'm so pleased with it!

It fits her nicely and she loves it. I'm very glad I made the next size up as she's growing like a weed. Her Dad is thankful that I made it completely machine washable as she promptly spilled chocolate milk on it.
Project details can be found on Ravelry here.
